Prepare for Induction
If you are successful in the first step of the applications process, you will be required to attend a four-day induction at Lund University School of Aviation, Sweden, where you will undergo aptitude and medical testing. Acceptance into the course is based on your results during induction.Testing schedule
Day 1: JAA Class 1 Medical Test
Day 2: Written aptitude test followed by an interview and testing
The medical test covers:
- Health, in line with JAA/ JAR-FCL specifications
- Optical testing
- Body mass index (BMI)
- Muscular system development and capacity
- Divulging special medical requirements
The first aptitude test covers:
- Perception and scanning
- Spatial orientation capacity
- Working memory function
- Logical reasoning
- Simultaneous capacity
- Situational awareness
- Stress tolerance
Documents to take to induction
- Visa & Passport - show the original and supply a certified copy
- Criminal Record Check - supply the original
- Birth Certificate - show the original and supply a certified copy
- Records of Upper Secondary OR High School education in English, Mathematics & Physics - show the original and supply a certified copy
