How to Apply
The application process has two steps.
1. ISEA JAR ATP Training Application Form
Please complete the ISEA JAR ATP Training Application Form to ensure you are capable of meeting the prerequisites set by L.U.S.A. All documents attached to your application must be certified
2. L.U.S.A Aptitude & Medical Testing
If selected, you will be invited to attend a four-day induction at L.U.S.A in Sweden, which includes:
- A JAR Class 1 Medical Test
- Aptitude Tests which examine your ability to pass the course
- An interview
If you are an ab initio applicant, you also need to be accepted by the L.U.S.A Recruitment and Selection Department.
Documents to take to induction
- Visa & Passport - show the original and supply a certified copy
- Criminal Record Check - supply the original
- Birth Certificate - show the original and supply a certified copy
- Records of Upper Secondary OR High School education in English, Mathematics & Physics - show the original and supply a certified copy
If you pass both steps in the application process, you will be ready to begin the JAR ATP training in Australia.
How to Certify Documents
Applicants residing outside Australia
A photocopied document must be certified as a true copy of the original by anyone who is currently employed as an authorised officer at:
- The institution that originally issued the documents; or
- An Australian overseas diplomatic mission, Australian Education International or other authorised Australian education organisation approved by ISEA.
Applicants residing in Australia
A photocopied document must be certified as a true copy of the original by a Justice of the Peace, or by:
- An authorised officer in the admissions office at any tertiary institution in Australia
- A member of CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, the National Institute of Accountants, the Association of Taxation and Management Accountants, or Registered Tax Agents
- A bank branch manager, excluding bank travel centres
- A barrister, solicitor or patent attorney
- A police officer
- A post office manager
- A principal of an Australian high school or primary school
The person certifying the photocopies must complete all of the following:
- Write on the copy: "This appears to be a true copy of the original document sighted by me"
- Sign the document; and
- Print the following details on each copy: name, address, contact telephone number, profession or occupation, date verified, and if available, affix the official stamp or seal of the verifier's organisation on the copy.
