Step by Step Guide

The decision to undertake your integrated JAR ATP training should not be taken lightly.

This step-by-step guide outlines the process you should take to ensure a smooth application with ISEA. For further information, contact the Enquiries & Admissions Team.

Before Applying

Before applying to ISEA you should establish a clear understanding of what is on offer and whether this meets your JAR ATP needs.

1. Read about the program, including:

    • Campus options
    • Course structure
    • Course fees

2. Determine whether your finances will cover your studies and expenses while completing your JAR ATP training in Australia.

3. Check the prerequisites to ensure you are eligible to study in Sweden and Australia, and that you can meet the minimum standards of entry into the JAR ATP program.


ISEA Application Process

1. Carefully complete the application, ensuring you provide certified or original copies of the required documents.

2. Submit your application to the ISEA Admissions Team via mail, email or fax before the closing date. ISEA will issue an application receipt which will include:

    • Student Number - the identification number that can be used to check the status of your application
    • If necessary, a request for further documents or information. You will need to respond to this request for further information promptly to ensure a smooth application process

3. You will be informed of the outcome of your application within two weeks of the application closing date. If successful, you will receive an Offer of Admission letter outlining the next steps in the application process, or if unsuccessful, information about alternative entry paths.

4. To accept the offer, please follow the instructions in the Offer of Admission letter. You will be required to accept the initial offer by signing the Acceptance of Offer document and sending it to the ISEA Admissions Team with your first payment:

    • $3500 for aptitude and medical tests
    • $5000 course deposit

5. You will also receive an induction pack containing:

    • Four-day induction schedule
    • Accommodation information
    • Forms to be completed prior to attending the induction
    • Induction checklist containing information on what documents you need to bring

Please note: The Offer of Admission letter is conditional. Acceptance into the course is based on results of testing during the four-day induction at Lund University, Sweden.

L.U.S.A Induction

1. The final stage of your application process will be completed at Lund University School of Aviation, Sweden, where you will attend a four-day induction.

2. During induction, you will attend an interview and must pass the aptitude and medical tests.

3. You will receive your aptitude and medical test results within three weeks of completing the induction. They will be accompanied by a Pre-departure Information Pack containing your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE), which you need in order to apply for your student visa.

4. Once you have received your eCOE, you need to:

    • Arrange Overseas Student Health Cover
    • Apply for your student visa
    • Book return flights to Australia
    • Finalise accommodation

5. Finally, read your Pre-departure Information Pack which includes information on your enrolment and the compulsory orientation week at your campus.
